Thurstober Digital Studios, the creators of the hugely popular Discord racing game, have announced their latest project, a chain-agnostic bridge named ‘The Factory’. With user experience at the core of their design, The Factory will allow players to own and hold game assets on their choice of blockchain. Key highlights include:
Chain-Agnostic Bridge: The Factory will enable users to buy a horse without using blockchain, mint a horse directly to a supported chain, or move a horse from one chain to another. This move gives players greater control over their assets and the ability to engage with the game on their preferred blockchain.
Web-Based Horses: Understanding that the majority of people are not familiar with blockchain technology or NFTs, Thurstober Digital Studios will allow users to purchase horses using traditional FIAT currency. Once bought, users will have the option to mint the horse onto their chosen blockchain at a later date, reducing barriers to entry for new players.
Direct Mint to Blockchain: Existing blockchain players will continue to enjoy the familiar minting experience. Users will have the option to pay directly with their chosen blockchain currency, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Horse Transfer: The Factory will allow players to burn a horse from one chain and mint it onto another supported chain. This ensures assets remain unique and provides an added level of ownership for players.
The team has also announced plans to start expanding across blockchains, beginning with Ripple. With this expansion, Thurstober Digital Studios aims to offer collaboration racing and cross-chain art collaboration, fostering a sense of community across different blockchains.

Last week we mentioned that Fracctal Monsters, the popular monster taming game, unveiled new Web2 Monsters and user-friendly account creation for the soon-to-be-released Free-to-Play version of the game. SK8, the NFT skating Discord game, has announced a couple of exciting updates. The first is the introduction of “Community Tricks.” Numerous beloved Algorand projects (12 and counting) have created their own unique SK8 tricks that players who hold mutual assets from these projects can attempt. Successful attempts can then be added to their SK8 Deck NFTs as ARC-69 traits!
SK8.algo on Twitter: "Officially announcing our new feature:🛹COMMUNITY TRICKS🛹Many beloved #algo projects have created their own SK8 Tricks. Mutual holders are eligible to attempt them and add the landed ones to their SK8 Deck NFTs as ARC-69 traits!🧵 / Twitter"

In addition, SK8 has now added support for multiple wallets, particularly in response to the recent hack on MyAlgo, as well as making it convenient for the new community tricks. Players have been requesting this for some time so it’s great to see the feature come to life.
For those who haven’t seen this section before, these are games that the guild started tracking in the last few weeks. These could be games you knew about all along but as we expand our tracking, we identify games we weren’t aware of before. To bring some awareness for these games to our community, we throw a one or two-liner description of each. To note: we have not verified these projects and everyone should do their own research!
Retro Space: This innovative game is described on their website as “a project that will simulate a fictional outer space in web3.0, All NFT’s will be generated in a generative way, thus making a unique space per user. As the Retro Space community grows, new modes will be developed, such as space race, duel between ships and themed events.”
That’s a wrap on another small but fruitful week in Algorand gaming! As always, a big thanks to our readers and hope you all have a game-filled week ahead.
