We had an incredible time at NFT.NYC this week, but mostly at the AlgoHouse event run by Algorand. We met so many of the Algorand creators, community and also developers from projects across many chains. Check out the thread below to see some of the memories!

Gunny, the upcoming battle royale game, is offering a special gift to those affected by the attack on MyAlgo. They will receive Inugis, unique pets with various abilities that can be used in the game, set to launch in May. Players can compete and win Algo prizes by using these adorable and powerful creature cards. Register here now to receive your own Inugi!
The Inugis shown in the tweet below are Taily, a water-type with the ability to create a protective water shield and Blaze, a fire-type capable of summoning a destructive fiery tornado. Which one is your favorite?

The Alvatars team held the first public testing of their game with players using their actual tile NFTs. This is an exciting step towards the full game release! We weren’t able to join but heard that it was a success and everyone had a ton of fun. Keep an eye out on this team’s socials so you don’t miss out on future test sessions!

Aegir Tactics, an upcoming competitive card game, announced the launch of their revamped collection website! You can check it out here. This website is looking super clean so explore all the new features if you are an Aegir Tactics holder!

Exciting news from Trantorian, the upcoming space-themed MMO! They have reached a historic milestone with the completion of their online multiplayer Vertical Slice Demo, which is now ready for deployment. A select group of Commanders will have the unique opportunity to be pioneers of this version and shape the future Public Alpha.
The Vertical Slice provides a sneak peek into some of the core gameplay modes for Fleet Commanders, featuring key elements that will make up the complete experience, Exploration, Commerce ️and Battle. Stay tuned for more information on how to access the future Alpha and test the battle system on the ladder!

The team also revealed their latest ship, the Tormentalum. Measuring over 100 meters long, this wandering arsenal is primarily made of Titanite-Obsidium alloys, providing the density required to withstand powerful blasting forces. Read more about the ship in the tweet thread below.

Thurstober Racing, a Discord-based NFT Racing game, is introducing the Fancyhorse Alpha! Set to launch in May/June 2023, Fancyhorses will combine utility, aesthetics, and entertainment, pushing the boundaries of what an NFT can do. Priced at around $25 USD, these NFTs will be minted on-demand with a mint size of 315+. Fancyhorses will act as stable managers, allowing holders to assign three raceable horses for race perks. Holders can also purchase a Fancy Pass with in-game utility token $OATS for discounted Fancyhorses. The first 315 Fancyhorses will be tied to the 315 STUPIDHORSEs, offering aesthetic and utility upgrades. Future expansions include The Closet, where players can accumulate traits and strategize or dress their horses for success, set to release in Fall 2023.

AlgoSeas, the pirate-themed idle game, has released new pirate cards for testing here. This link allows players to access the same NFTs and backend as the regular website while trying out new features before they’re released to all users. The team is eager to receive feedback on these updates, which include improved visuals for pirate accessories. Bandages have also been activated in the game — any pirate that has a bandage will see their constitution roll automatically jump according to the accessory level.
Lastly, Players have approximately two more weeks to participate in the Specialists event. At the end of the event, six unique pirates will be raffled off, one per specialist. Players can earn an entry to the raffle by defeating a specialist. Don’t delay — start tackling those specialists today!
